Back to School Giveaway!

 

In honor of it being back to school month, we have decided to bless 1-2 families with back to school supplies. As a mom of two, I know how expensive things can be when sending our kids back to school. To enter this give away please follow ALL of the following rules:

Girl, Where Have You Been?

Where do I start? A lot has happened in my life since my last post. With struggling to be transparent enough to put myself “out there”, I am now at a place where I am embracing change. Can you believe it? I have learned no matter how much I try to hold onto the thought of things being under control, God always seems to step in and show me just how much control I truly have. Honestly, I am glad that He often does things His way and not mine. Can you imagine how your life would be if God gave you your way? Whew, I know right! He is causing me to be pushed to new limits. I often find that He is calling me to do things that make me question myself and capabilities. The one thing I have learned during these past few months is that God is always with me. With His soothing words of encouragement, and the ever so often reminder that “I am with you” I now have this new peace that is unexplainable. I mean we are talking about being filled with peace and joy in the midst of everything going wrong. What? Are you serious? Is this really happening? So, here is where my journey from faith to faith begins. I am not saying this will be easy, I am not saying I will get everything right. I am simply saying will you join me?  It is through my journey that I hope you will begin to question things and find out who God is in your own life. Over the next few weeks, there will be a few changes around here. I feel that God is leading me in a new direction and is changing my perspective on the way I see things. You can expect things to be a little more…. personal.  Ugh!  Introverts where are you? Lol

Lol taking on this new way of thinking and direction won’t be easy.  I know that God is with me and with Him I can’t lose.

I would like to give a special shout out to my Husband for being so encouraging and supportive through this period of me finding my voice. Also, to my girls for allowing mommy to be imperfect and often giving me an extra push of encouragement when I need it.  I am blessed to have such an amazing crew!
